NFFS member foundry Southland Machine and Mold Company, located in Carrollton, Georgia, has a Stotek Alumelter model AMG500 gas furnace (pictured right) for sale.
The furnace was purchased new and installed in February of 2024, and has only five months of operation time.
- Melting Rate: 550 pounds/hour aluminum
- Bath Capacity: 1,100 pounds aluminum
- Aluminum Heating Source: Natural Gas
- Design: Silcon Carbide Crucible
- Operating Temperature: 1,300 degrees Fahrenheit
