From the NFFS Executive Director: Spring Reception cancelled

Dear NFFS Members and Industry Colleagues,

We regret to inform you that the Non-Ferrous Founders' Society (NFFS) Spring Mixer and Reception, along with our Spring Board of Director's Meeting, scheduled for April 24 and 25, 2024, at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center hotel, have been canceled. This decision comes as a result of the hotel's inability to honor our previously executed contract.

According to communication received by NFFS directly from the Hilton Milwaukee City Center, the hotel was obligated to adhere to a non-compete clause as stipulated by an undisclosed client during the period coinciding with the AFS Casting Congress. This unfortunate agreement prohibits our Society and our industry from hosting any form of membership gathering or networking activity within the hotel during that period.

Here at NFFS, we believe in fostering an environment of inclusivity, collaboration, and mutual respect. While we are disappointed by this setback, we remain committed to serving our members and advancing our mission and our industry. Our Spring 2024 Board of Directors meeting will now be held May 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm EDT. Please continue to check the NFFS website for the date and location of our next Industry social event.
