NFFS launches initiative to address insurance coverage challenges
Editor's Note: Member participation in the NFFS survey on insurance coverage is crucial in shaping strategies for our industry's future. Your input is invaluable in guiding our efforts towards securing affordable and comprehensive coverage for nonferrous foundries. We urge all members to participate in this vital effort prior to March 31, 2024.
In response to ongoing concerns over the availability and affordability of property and casualty (P&C) insurance coverage for nonferrous foundries, the Non-Ferrous Founders' Society has launched a strategic initiative to identify solutions for its membership.
Beginning March 13th and running through the end of the month, NFFS will conduct a brief survey designed to collect specific information on coverage lines, carriers, and premiums from its membership. By aggregating member input regarding the current insurance landscape, the Society aims to identify meaningful actions that can be taken to support the availability and affordability of P&C insurance for our industry.
NFFS has rigorous safeguards established to protect sensitive member information and is committed to protecting our members' data. All information gathered will be encrypted, securely stored, and treated as confidential information. Data will only be combined with other relevant information for analytical purposes, and only a unified dataset will be used for analysis and shared with any potential approved partners. We assure you that no individual or company-specific data will ever be released or disclosed by our organization without explicit consent.
NFFS will begin sending email to its membership with a link to complete the survey this week. The survey is expected to take roughly 15 – 30 minutes to complete. Once the data acquisition phase has been completed, NFFS will form a member working group to explore options for P&C coverage for our industry.
Together, we can achieve a more secure and sustainable future for our non-ferrous foundry industry. For additional information, please contact Jerrod Weaver.
