KN Manufacturing acquires PumpWorks Castings

KN Manufacturing Inc. has announced the acquisition of PumpWorks Castings, located in Lufkin, Texas, effective January 1, 2025. Under the leadership of new owners Nate and Kelly McLain, the foundry will be rebranded as KN Manufacturing Inc. and will continue to serve existing customers while focusing on expansion and innovation.

The foundry’s capabilities include casting steel, stainless steel, and copper-based alloys using furan no-bake molds and cores, investment casting, and incorporating advanced technologies such as 3D-printed investment patterns, sand molds/cores and pattern tooling. These considerable capabilities position KN Manufacturing to meet customer needs while driving growth and innovation in the industry.
