Erie Bronze and Aluminum has announced that it is upgrading its molding machine to improve production capability. In 2024, Erie Bronze & Aluminum will be replacing their current Harrison N28 26x26 Automatic Molding Machine to a state-of-the-art DISA MATCH 20/24 Molding System.
According to Erie Bronze, the DISA MATCH is the most durable and precise green-sand matchplate system available in the market today. With the machine’s swift and accurate pattern changes being paired with an operating interface that is extremely user-friendly, the DISA MATCH allows foundries like Erie Bronze to reach the lowest cost per casting, even on the short runs. This superior piece of equipment comes with an automatic Core Setter, which will increase the speed of production from Erie's average 10–15 molds per hour to a max of 145 cored molds per hour! The best part is even with this massive increase in the production speed, Erie Bronze will still see an increase in casting quality and surface finish. Erie Bronze & Aluminum is truly excited for the growth this will bring to their company, as well as their customers and community.
