Headshot of Thornton WhiteOn June 28th, Thornton White, Senior Advisor for Advanced Technology International (ATI), retired after more than 20 years of service leading the American Metalcasting Consortium (AMC), a collaboration between the U.S. government, industry experts, and academic researchers that provides direct support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) through new technology, improved processes, and technical expertise in the procurement of metalcastings to ensure warfighter readiness. Thornton's leadership was essential to the success of numerous AMC programs.

On his last day at ATI, Thornton reached out to the NFFS team and stated, "It’s been great working with the NFFS team, and I’m sure going to miss the NFFS Industry Executive Conferences!"

NFFS would like to thank Thornton for his contributions and leadership over the past two decades, and to wish him and his wife Kelley the best as they enjoy plenty of non-work related travel over the coming years!
