NFFS welcomes new staff member Matt Gilmore
The Non-Ferrous Founders' Society is excited to announce that it has added a new staff member to the NFFS team. Effective January 8, 2024, Matthew (Matt) Gilmore has joined the Society's small but mighty team as the new Director of Business Development. Matt was selected for the Director of Business Development position from a pool of over 300 applicants.
In this newly added position, Matt will be responsible for building and strengthening external relationships, managing customer relations, and implementing strategies designed to increase revenue and implement new business opportunities for NFFS. In addition, Matt will be responsible for business development for the Society’s Integrated Casting Order Network (ICON) program. ICON is an online collaborative effort between NFFS and the U.S. Department of Defense designed to provide innovative procurement solutions for the metal castings required by the U.S. military.
"I’m very excited to join the NFFS team," said Matt. "I’m looking forward to working with the staff, the membership, and the industry to grow and enhance NFFS' ICON program and bring even more value to the Society.”
Matt has over ten years of experience in manufacturing trade association management, most recently serving as the Director of Membership and Business Development with Gardner Manufacturing Association Solutions (GMAS). In this role, Matt worked with multiple manufacturing trade associations focusing on new member development, creating and enhancing non-dues revenue programs, developing local and regional events and creating and establishing new manufacturing associations. Prior to joining GMAS, Matt served as the Director of Membership and Business Development with the National Tooling and Machining Association (NTMA).
Matt holds a BA in English from Wittenberg University and has an accreditation in Public Relations from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time and traveling with his fiancé Heidi and making his two sons, Jackson and Liam, better soccer players.
