Webinar: Updated TRI Reporting in Aluminum and Copper Foundries
Zoom
Event Details
TRI reporting refers to the Toxic Release Inventory, a program implemented by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Its purpose is to track the release and management of toxic chemicals by industrial and federal facilities. Foundries are required to submit a TRI report by July 1 of each year if they manufacture, process, or otherwise use a listed chemical in quantities above specified thresholds. These thresholds vary for different chemicals, and sometimes aluminum and copper-base foundries are unaware of the obligation to report certain chemicals contained in trace quantities in some alloy families based upon the volume of those materials processed.
Join NFFS for an important webinar for all non-ferrous foundries regarding your obligation to file TRI reports. We will review the reporting thresholds for listed chemicals and their reporting thresholds, and introduce a new NFFS online tool that foundries can use to determine their TRI reporting obligations. Don't be caught off guard—make sure your TRI reporting is accurate by registering to attend today!
