YRC Worldwide Rebranded as “Yellow,” Program Now Includes Regional Carriers
You probably know NFFS member and longtime freight partner as YRC Worldwide, YRC Freight, or perhaps even Yellow Freight. The company recently rebranded, returning to the name ‘Yellow.’
On the company’s website, it states, “Over 90 years ago, we created the less-than-truckload (LTL) industry. Innovation is in our blood, and we’ve evolved over the years to meet the needs of our customers and our own expectations. That’s why we’re returning to our original name: Yellow.”
In addition to a new name, Yellow has expanded its program for NFFS members. Shipping discounts are now offered through the company’s new regional carriers: Holland, New Penn, and Reddaway.
Regarding the addition of the new carriers, Yellow states, “We’re building upon our legacy as the original LTL carrier by bringing together five powerful and successful brands—each with their own fiercely loyal employees. As one company, we can deliver more than ever, all across North America.”
