NFFS to Hold Membership Event at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on October 14th
The Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society is excited to announce the resumption of ‘normal’ meetings and events beginning later this year. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began in March of 2020, live meetings and events have been very rare. Now that vaccination is well underway for most Americans, it is time to begin thinking about a return to life as normal. This includes the resumption of in-person meetings and events for many organizations, including NFFS.
On October 14, 2021, NFFS will host a regional membership networking event at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame located in Downtown Cleveland from 5–9 p.m. NFFS guests will enjoy a reception style event including exciting cuisine and adult refreshments in the lower atrium, which boasts tremendous views of Lake Erie, the Science Center and the Mather Steamship. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will be open until 9 p.m. that evening allowing NFFS members plenty of time to walk the museum and experience everything this incredible venue has to offer.
Advance registration for this event will be required through the NFFS website. Registration opens June 1, 2021, and will be limited to the first 100 people to register. Tickets are $99/each and include the NFFS event as well as full access to the entire museum. NFFS has a room block available at the nearby Hilton Cleveland Downtown for attendees wishing to stay the night. The room rate is $179/night + tax and these rooms will also be available on June 1st.
NFFS member company Beck Aluminum has generously offered to sponsor this event for NFFS members. Beck Aluminum is one of the largest distributors of foundry alloys in North America and provides primary, secondary and master alloys to the foundry and die casting industries. John Mellone, vice president of Beck Aluminum said, “Beck Aluminum is excited to have the opportunity to sponsor a great event with NFFS here in our hometown of Cleveland. This will be a fantastic reminder of just how much fun and how exciting NFFS events are to attend.”
Registration for the event opens June 1, 2021. Visit www.nffs.org/rrhof for additional information or to register.
