2020 NFFS Scholarship Application is Now Open for Submissions
NFFS is now accepting applications for the 2020 Non-Ferrous Founders’ Society Scholarship. The NFFS Scholarship program is designed to help develop the next generation of foundry leaders and innovators for our industry. By providing meaningful scholarship support to college students majoring in engineering, materials science, and manufacturing curricula, NFFS is exposing our nation’s best and brightest to the tremendous opportunities available in the non-ferrous metal casting industry.
Students can apply for the NFFS Scholarship through the Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF) website, www.fefinc.org. Students must create a profile that includes their educational and work history, as well as submit an essay of no more than 500 words which summarizes their career objectives and their interest in non-ferrous materials. Applications will be accepted through September 30th, and the final award will be presented at FEF’s 2020 College Industry Conference in November. The amount of the scholarship award is $2,500 (subject to adjustment by the NFFS Board of Directors).
